SEPAC 2026 - THE ROCK OF MONACO
The Rock of Monaco illustrates the SEPAC program's common theme of "iconic landmarks". The historical and political heart of the Principality, crowned by the ramparts of the old town and overlooking the sea, the Rock offers an exceptional setting. It embodies the soul of Monaco through its remarkable monuments and gardens. Traces of Phocaean occupation dating back to the 6th century BC suggest that this site served as a stopover for Greek navigators. Since 1297, the Princes of Monaco have established their residence here.
