HISTORICAL SITE OF THE GRIMALDIS OF MONACO - RETHEL-MAZARIN
The Duchy of Rethel-Mazarin was given as a dowry to the future Prince Honoré IV in 1777 by his wife Marie-Félicité-Victoire d'Aumont-Mazarin, a descendant of Hortense Mancini, niece of Cardinal Mazarin and the first Duchess of the Duchy of Rethel-Mazarin. The princess was the mother of Princes Honoré V (1819-1841) and Florestan I (1841-1856). HSH Prince Albert II is fond of visiting the Historical Sites of the Grimaldis of Monaco, and will travel to Rethel on 25 April 2025.
