LEGENDARY RACE CARS - BRAWN GP 001
As Sporting Director for Honda in 2008, Ross Brawn seized the opportunity to purchase the Japanese team in order to create his own, Brawn GP, in 2009. Equipped with a Mercedes engine and a double diffuser, the single-seater GP 001 completely dominated the 2009 season. In its first and only season, the car won the constructor’s title and helped Jenson Button become world champion. The team was bought out by Mercedes in 2010.
