LEGENDARY RACE CARS - MC CLAREN M23
The McLaren M23’s longevity is impressive. The vehicle competed in Formula 1 racing seasons from 1973 to 1977, enabling the Marlboro Team Texaco to secure the constructors’ world championship title in 1974. Emerson Fittipaldi became world champion in 1974 behind the wheel of a McLaren M23 and in 1976, it was James Hunt’s turn to be crowned champion after a season marked by the horrific accident suffered by Niki Lauda, who finished second, just one point behind the Brit.
