OPERA SINGERS - GÉRALDINE FARRAR
The celebrated soprano of the Metropolitan Opera, Géraldine Farrar made her debut in Berlin in the role of Marguerite, in Gounod’s Faust. In Monte-Carlo in 1905, she played Amica in Mascagni’s eponymous opera. Géraldine Farrar also enjoyed a film career with leading roles including Carmen and Joan of Arc in productions by Cecil B. de Mille.
