DALI, A HISTORY OF PAINTING
From 6 July to 8 September 2019, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco will be hosting a summer exhibition entitled “Dalí, a history of painting”. Marking the 30th anniversary of the artist’s death (1904-1989), the exhibition brings together a collection of paintings, photographs and drawings produced between 1910 and 1983, showing the different stages in the artist’s creative approach. It highlights the way in which the painter himself etched his name in the history of 20th century art. Visitors will discover Dali’s own creative journey, recognising the various influences of other artists, to whom he paid tribute.
