150 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN MONACO AND SPAIN

The year 2026 marks the 150^th anniversary of the diplomatic mission of the Principality of Monaco in Spain, established in 1876. To mark this occasion, the Embassy of Monaco, in close cooperation with the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Prince’s Government, is organising an exceptional cultural programme to be rolled out throughout the year in Spain and in the Principality. This commemoration forms part of the continuation of long-standing historical relations between Monaco and Spain, built on dialogue, cooperation and shared values. It reflects the continuity of a long-standing diplomatic relationship that has evolved over time while maintaining its strength and stability.

It will be included, with other values, in the 2nd Part of the philatelic programme 2026 and offered to our subscribers and customers.
