In partnership with the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, the Stamp Issuing Office is continuing its cinema series featuring the posters of films shot in Monaco.
FILMS SHOT IN MONACO - THE MONTE-CARLO STORY
An Italo-American film released in 1957, The Monte-Carlo Story stars Vittorio De Sica and Marlene Dietrich in the roles of a Neapolitan Count completely ruined because of his passion for casino games who develops a plan to seduce and marry a French marquise whom he believes to be rich.

These issues will be on sale at the “Office des
Timbres”, the “Musée des Timbres et des Monnaies”, the post offices and
philatelic counters of the Principality, the Monaco stamp-dealers as well as
the “Carré d’Encre” in Paris, France. They will be included, with other values,
in the 2nd Part of the philatelic programme 2023 and
offered to our subscribers and customers.
