60th MONTE-CARLO TELEVISION FESTIVAL

Created in 1961 by Prince Rainier III, the Monte-Carlo Television Festival celebrates the excellence of international television production. Studios, television channels and stars of the small screen meet each year to promote their programs for press and public and compete for the prestigious Golden Nymph Awards. The 60th edition will welcome the biggest names in international television from 18 to 22 June 2021 to the Grimaldi Forum.

EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Initially planned for 2020 before being postponed due to COVID-19, the European Football Championship will take place from 11 June to 11 July 2021. For the first time in its history, it will not be organised by a single country, but will take place right across Europe, in a dozen selected host cities. The Stadio Olimpico in Rome will be the venue for the opening match, and the final will be contested at Wembley, in London.

These issues will be on sale at the “Office des Timbres”, the “Musée des Timbres et des Monnaies”, the post offices and philatelic counters of the Principality, the Monaco stamp-dealers as well as the “Carré d’Encre” in Paris, France. They will be included, with other values, in the 1st Part of the philatelic programme 2021 and offered to our subscribers and customers.
