The Swiss boat PlanetSolar left Monaco in September 2010 to sail around the world, and will end its journey in the Principality in spring 2012. PlanetSolar is propelled by a silent, non-polluting electric motor powered exclusively by solar energy, and is the first "solar Boat” to accomplish this feat.
